What this site is
A publication. It provides general information about work visas, employment, lending, banking and housing in several countries. It is not a professional service and using it creates no adviser-client, solicitor-client or attorney-client relationship of any kind.
No advice
Nothing on this site is legal, immigration, tax, financial or mortgage advice, and nothing on it should be acted on without checking the official source and, where the matter is important, taking advice from someone qualified and regulated to give it.
Immigration advice is a regulated activity. In the United Kingdom it requires registration with the Immigration Advice Authority (formerly the OISC) or a legal practising certificate. In the United States it requires being a licensed attorney or a Department of Justice accredited representative. We hold none of those and provide no advice.
Accuracy
The guides are written carefully and dated, but rules, fees, salaries, lender terms and rents change constantly, and some of the figures here are market estimates rather than published rules. No warranty is given that anything on this site is current, complete or accurate at the moment you read it.
