Use this for corrections, questions about something a guide says, or anything to do with the site itself.
Corrections get priority. If you are reporting an error, the quickest route to a fix is the guide title, the passage, what is wrong with it, and where the correct figure is published. Anything specific enough to check usually gets checked within a few days.
What cannot be answered
Questions about your own case. That includes whether a particular employer will sponsor you, whether your qualifications will transfer, whether a lender will approve you, what your tax position is, and anything that depends on your visa history or immigration status.
This is not evasion. Immigration advice is a regulated activity — in the UK it requires registration with the Immigration Advice Authority (formerly the OISC) or a legal practising certificate, and in the US giving it without being an attorney or an accredited representative is unauthorised practice of law. We are not regulated to advise, so we do not.
For those questions you want a regulated immigration adviser, a solicitor or attorney, a mortgage broker, or an accountant, depending on the subject.
Response times
Email is read, but this is a small operation and not every message gets a reply. Corrections and factual errors are the ones that reliably do.
What we are not interested in
Guest posts, link insertions, sponsored articles and paid placements. The answer is no in every case, and the site does not carry affiliate links.
